What I Believe God Is Saying Today After Spending Time In Prayer!
After spending time in prayer I believe the Lord wants me to start this daily devotional. A devotion of spending time in His presence around lunch time and asking God what is it that He is saying to me, and to the ones that would view this. So join me daily as we listen. I would love to hear your feedback as well!
*This was the original first post of “Lunch With The Holy Spirit”! I will be starting this back up (Look for new posts & some originals). God birthed this in me in time of prayer. i had just seen all the terror in the news. I believe God wants me to continue to encourage and bring hope to the world. So I look forward to you joining us on this journey. New authors will be posting in this as well, Blessings!
The Scripture for today is:
Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
I believe this is what the Lord would say to us today!
If you look at the news lately and even at the world all around you, you will see that there is things to rejoice about, and also things to mourn about! Not to promote any shows, but 2 fellow Christians won their contests (Worship leader Chris Blue on “The Voice” and NFL player Rashad Jennings on “Dancing With The Stars”), so congratulations to them (A example of rejoicing with them). On the other end of the verse is mourning. Believe me when I tell you this that my heart feels torn for all the terrorism going on, and all the evil! I believe the Lord would have us to pray for all the Countries, families, and friends of all impacted by these acts of terror we hear about in the news. The latest being the (last I seen on news) 26 Christians in Egypt blew up who were mostly children and at least another 26 reported injured. So my prayers go out to all that are involved in such hatred and evil acts (A example of mourning).
So heed the Word of God today. Pray for all people!
Prayer: Holy Father help us to be led by your Holy Spirit! We pray for all who have been impacted by the horrific crimes of terrorism. That you will heal, set free, comfort, and deliver! We also pray for the ones who are rejoicing that they will continue to give you glory and live for you! Lord help us to be observant to those all around us, and to know when and where to rejoice and when and where to mourn. Lord we ask You for Your mercy to be poured out today for our lives, families, Ministries, and Countries.
In Jesus Name, Amen!
Remember to Smile 🙂 God loves you!
