“I got my war closes on! And?”
The above title comes from relating to Ephesians 6:10-20 where we know the famous quote of the Scripture which tells us to put on the whole armor of God. So you have on your armor of God, your war clothes, now what are you going to do? That’s where the question, “and?” comes in. So many people stop at verse 18 in Ephesians chapter 6; it is important that we do the “and” part. By this I mean in verse 19 it says, “praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication…”
We are relating to operating in intercession so let’s give a brief definition.
Intercession is standing in the gap, over territorial spirits, over the lost and for evangelism, over the body of Christ, there’s prophetic intercession, etc..
-Jesus stood in the gap for us. He is the greatest intercessor.
You can read the High Priestly prayer of Jesus in John 17:6-19.
Jesus is still now making intercession for us by sitting on the right hand of the Father making intercession.
In Acts 24:24-45 Paul spoke about faith in Christ Jesus (Acts 24:24-45). Felix who Paul was speaking to said when I get an opportunity I will summon you. We need to be praying for the lost.
We can pray that which we read in Acts 26:15-18. Verse 18 open their eyes turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive the forgiveness of sins.
We see a great importance in praying for others, standing in the gap, and making intercession. In Psalm 106:23 (vs19-23) God would of destroyed them but Moses stood in the breach.
When the enemy is on the prowl lets stand for we will not be shaken! We are going to be more determined now than ever.
Let us take on the role of the watchman as spoke about in Ezekiel 22:30 (vs23-31) build up the wall and stand in the gap.
Blessings to you, remember to pray for others today!
