Studying The Prophetic #4

Greetings and blessings to you!

I am excited for what God is doing in this season. I want to exhort you today to get excited about Jesus, and to get excited about prophecy.

Why would I say to get excited about prophecy? Well we went over before that the Testimony of Jesus was the Spirit of prophecy. Also…

Thought:

Did you know that the whole Holy Bible was and is in fact prophecy (And that it contains many prophecies that have been fulfilled and some that will be fulfilled at later dates.)?

Answer: (To the last study’s question)

Where in the Bible does it tell us to covet?

Scripture:

“Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.”

(1 Corinthians 14:39)

*Covet- Earnestly desire.

Definitions:

  1. Exhort- (Exhortation). To encourage (encouragement). To strongly encourage or urge someone to…
  2. Edify- (Edification). To strengthen. To build up. To uplift. To instruct someone.
  3. Comfort- (Encourage and strengthen also). To instruct someone in which relief would come. Assistance. Support. To bless them. To relieve from distress (mind, body, soul). To relieve from depression, pain, etc…

*Once again I want to encourage you to look up these words for a better understanding for yourself. The definitions I give are to point you in the right direction of how they apply to the Prophetic.

Thought:

Let’s build up (Encourage, Strengthen, & Comfort) one another! Let us build up the Kingdom Of GOD and tear down the kingdom of satan!

Question (For the next article):

What are the 9 gifts Paul speaks of for us to operate in (Listed in 1Corinthians)? Also what does Paul say is important if we are operating in these gifts (Hint: Starts with a L or maybe a C depending on version)?

Declaration:

I declare that an army is rising up and they will speak life to their brothers and sisters in Christ. They will operate in the Prophetic by the Holy Spirit and His power. They will operate in the power and authority of and in the Name Of JESUS! And they will do it in decently and order (1 Cor 14:40).

In Jesus name we pray, amen!

What are your thoughts or comments. Feel free to add your thoughts ot input as we go along. We hope you join us next time as we take another step in this journey as the Lord leads us!
