Testimony Tuesday #4

Do you have a confession?

“All hidden things of darkness are revealed to me, and are made manifest by the light.”

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

(1 Peter 2:9)

*This is a testimony token out of my prayer journal from some time ago.

I am once again awestruck by the awesomeness of God. As I have been in prayer lately, the Holy Spirit has been revealing wickedness in my heart. While we were praying in our prayers cell (group) that gathers every morning, I would just blurt out things in my heart as I was in prayer. But I am glad God loved me enough to expose darkness to the light.

Now keep in mind, that I was asking for this in my confession every day. Today (The day written) the Lord exposed that I was fighting him. He reminded me that when a member of the church had passed, who prayed over the church (what I call a intercessor), that the LORD had passed on to me to be an intercessor, and that would be part of the mantle he put on me.

*If you are speaking into someone’s life, you should be spending quality time with the Lord in prayer, so that you release His Words and not yours!

Back to my testimony… Don’t get me wrong, I was praying, and I believe I gave my heart fully to God. But I was living in darkness (ignorance)! I am so thankful for the Light of the World, JESUS, who gave me light (wisdom) in this situation I had.

Sometimes life would seem so hard and unfair, because I wanted things done my way. I would get tired of waiting on God, and operate in idolatry and self-righteousness. The Lord would allow my life to go full circle in some areas, so I would become humble, and so he could expose darkness. God wanted me in communication with him and in intercessory prayer for others to train me, and cover them in prayer.

Well God visited me in areas of my life today, he showed me love through deliverance and healing. Now that I received this love from God, and can from a more pure heart show love,  and speak life as I minister to them. I can strengthen, encourage, and comfort my brothers and sisters in Christ. I can show love as I bring Hope to a world that sometimes seems hopeless!

Thank you Lord for healing, saving, and delivering me! Give me strength to take the Spirit of prophecy to the world (Jesus born of a virgin: lived a sinless life: died on the cross for our sins: was buried: 3 days later was raised: His Holy Spirit was sent to dwell in us: JESUS is sitting on the right hand of the Father ruling supreme!

What will you confess over your life? Will you allow God to search your heart today? He is waiting!

Remember to Smile 🙂 God loves you!!!

  1. I love your honesty and sharing. Especially on being more in prayer for those He has p!aced in our lives to be in intercessory prayer for. There is a “Word” right there! What a privilege He grants to trust us to seek His Word and way and not ours. Excellent post. Thank you for your testimony of His Love and care.
