What questions have you had to ask yourself and God?
Here is the question I had to ask myself and God! I found myself wondering where did the zeal go which I once had for God? As I pondered on the visions He gave me, and on the words that we’re spoken over my life, there was just this emptiness. I asked the Lord, “How can I tell this world about Jesus when I cannot feel happy or find happiness myself?” And this is when I was given one of the greatest revelations I have ever received as the Lord gave me revelation by illumination of a Scripture to me.
I believe God had me open up to Psalm 16 and when I got to verse 11 where it says,
“In thy (God’s) presence is fullness of joy.”
That’s when I got it!
It was like a lightbulb went off in my head. All of a sudden where it had been dark for way to long, there was now light! I had finally discovered that I was looking for joy in all the wrong places. I just simply needed to be in God’s presence. O’ the joy I discovered that day. Ever since then I have always wanted to be in His presence communicating with God and having fellowship; praying without ceasing; worshipping; fasting; singing; dancing; and shouting. Oh, and lets not forget a walk with Him at the breaking of day. Wow, there are so many more ways we can spend time with Him.
I was so excited once I had this discovery, that I gathered the group of people who were near me and we sung, we worshipped and praised God. Then I declared the Gospel from a place of love, which was birthed from being in His presence. Everyone there fell to their knees and/or bowed their heads with tears running out of their eyes, as they repented and gave their lives to Jesus! The other ones there that were saved already were so excited to tell others about this Awesome Savior Jesus Christ! Boldness was birthed that day! Glory to God! A flame lit in me that day and shines even brighter today as I have discovered so much more about this Glorious God we serve! He takes away our sins! He loves us!
I challenge you to be a witness for Jesus today. Go! Take the opportunities that you will have around people and share with them what God has done for you. Ultimately we will be eternally in His presence where there will be no more tears, pain, sickness, sin, hate, and so on! That’s enough to rejoice knowing that Christ in me is the hope of Glory!
Holy Father, let us truly discover Your love for us! Draw us to the throne room of grace. We need you Lord. We pray that we will spend more time in Your presence God! For everyone who is fighting and battling in their minds we ask for freedom today!
In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
What is your testimony? Will you share it with someone to help bring them hope?
